If I shut off the Netgear WNDR4500 AP portion and plug in an true access point into the Netgear WNDR4500 will this improve wifi speeds on the second side of the house? Also I know the WNDR4500 is very old, would getting a newer router capable of installing dd-wrt on it make for better performance? If so what is recommended?
